TOURIST PLACES:

St. Peter’s Collegiate Church: This church is the city’s oldest monument and is situated on the highest point in the city. This monument is of great Historic and Cultural Interest and it dates back to 15th century. It is not exactly a cathedral.

The church of St. John: This church is situated on the southern side of the city and is listed as Grade II building. It was built in 1760.

Airways: This city had its airport at Penderford but to expansion of trade and economy a new airport was opened in southwestern part of the city. The further expansion of this airport has been resisted by the local population and hence this airport only has some flights to selected destinations. The major international traffic of this city is handled by Birmingham International Airport which is linked to this city via M6 motorway.
