Plan ahead for your London trip
Organising a trip to London requires one of two things; a vast knowledge of the city, or the ability to thoroughly research the place before you go. Most people don’t have an encyclopaedic knowledge of London simply due to its sheer size, so if you are planning to head to the capital, you would be well advised to plan ahead.
Firstly, you should try to get a rough idea of what you will be doing there on a day to day basis. Ask yourself whether or not you have in mind particular activities whilst in London, and if so, see if you can get a good geographical idea of what you are doing. With a bit of luck, a few of your planned activities will be in close proximity to one another, which will enable you to be able to book accommodation in the right place for your trip.
Secondly make sure you check up on the availability of any of the activities that you are planning to undertake. If all you want to do is to visit some nice little restaurants and look round the shops then you have little to worry about, but if you are hoping to see the latest theatre show then you had better check on the availability. The next big show to get a run in the theatres of London is The Wizard of Oz and following the amount of coverage the show is starting to get, seats will be limited. If you think this is for you then make sure you book your Wizard of Oz tickets well in advance.
