there are different regions in England like western midland, eastern midland etc. Eastern midland is also amongst these regions which covers most of the part of the midlands of England. Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northampton shire, Nottinghamshire and most of Lincolnshire are the cities that constitute this part of the midland. In other words east midland can be defined as the area constituting of the City of Peterborough (once part of Northampton shire but now Cambridge shire),Uttoxeter and Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire and north Lincolnshire. It’s ranked fourth when it comes to the area. Approximately it has 16000 km of area covered under it. It comes under Nottingham headquarters and is governed by the east midlands council. It has its own parliament which is above more than forty one lacks people, ranking 8th in the world. It has a nice amount of density.

the culture of this area can be vastly divided in three sections that are regional culture, industrial culture and the after effects of world war 2nd. One of the important fact about this place is that its famous for its diversity in food. The region can also be acknowledged as the city with the first factory ever with its work of textiles which is part of world’s only heritage site. Tank, diesel engine, jet engines and VTOL engines were first all discovered in this area. Also the first jet aircraft flew from this region. like the whole world, even this area is facing the problem of traffic. The traffic in here is increasing with a certain percentage every day which is quite shocking.
